About Kim
Kim received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University in 2010 with a specialization in School Social Work. In addition to private practice, Kim works as a school social worker in an elementary school.
Kim specializes in social skills development, behavior intervention strategies, and coping skills development to help manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
Kim also has a passion for working with families around the perinatal time period. Kim has received specialized training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.
Kim enjoys working with individuals and families to identify their goals and help them develop the skills necessary to achieve those goals.
Kim prioritizes the therapeutic relationship and utilizes a solution-focused style. Kim also utilizes components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy when working with clients.
