About Hilary
Hilary graduated from DePaul University in 2010 with a Master of Education in Counseling with a focus on school counseling. Hilary became an LCPC in 2016 and has completed training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and 2020 MOMs towards her Perinatal Mental Health Certification.
Hilary is passionate about providing counseling to new moms, families, women and teen girls who need support with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, etc.
Hilary is trauma-informed and works to build safe and positive relationships with clients focusing on clients’ strengths and goals, how they relate to others and their deeper emotions.
Hilary is passionate about learning and has completed training in cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotionally focused counseling and mind-body centered therapies such as sensorimotor psychotherapy and internal family system
In addition to several years as a private practice therapist, Hilary has 10 years of experience in providing academic and career counseling in a university setting. She enjoys working with young adults and served as an Assistant Director of an Internship Program for social work graduates students.
