The therapist will listen attentively, ask thoughtful questions, and offer insights or feedback. Sessions are an open dialogue and may include:
- Trauma-Informed Care: Understanding and validating your trauma experiences.
- Mindfulness Techniques: Utilizing body scanning and guided imagery to process emotions.
- Cognitive Restructuring: Practicing skills to shift unhelpful thinking patterns.
- Emotional Regulation: Learning techniques to manage and soothe intense emotions.
- Grounding Strategies: Developing practical methods to stay present and reduce anxiety.
